Eight Quick Questions with Robert Chazz Chute

The water has reached bubble and heat optimization and we are now ready for another week in the Hot Tub Crime Machine!
Armand Rosamilia is back for another installment of Eight Quick Questions With, and this time he's brought award winning author Robert Chazz Chute along.

Basic stuff: your name, where you’re from
Robert Chazz Chute from Other London, Canada
The title of your latest thriller book
Resurrection, A Hit Man Novel

Is it part of a series?
It's the fourth book in the Hit Man Series but also, as hinted at in the title, a kind of a reboot vis-a-vis the storytelling.

Give us the elevator pitch for the book. No spoilers
Mob enforcer Jesus Diaz let his girlfriend Lily escape the Machine back in New York. She left with millions of skimmed mob money. Big Denny wants his money back and he's sent Jesus to collect. Trouble is, the funny Cuban hit man will do anything to protect Lily Diaz and she'll do anything to escape.

Something unique about it
Jesus Diaz is cool, witty and clever but his ex has turned into a deadly assassin, too. The story goes from England to Miami and back to NYC, blood and jokes all the way.

If it’s a series, do you know how many books it will ultimately be?
Originally, I'd planned five. I've got a crossover planned with Easy Jack from The Night Man but this series could go on for years a la Jack Reacher.

Your biggest inspirations in writing
Reading William Goldman taught me how to write twists. He set the high standard of storytelling and I am determined to always meet that standard.
